Frequently Asked Questions
Do the online tools send my schema data to your servers?
No. All tools on the SchemaInterface domain execute entirely within your browser using WebAssembly and client-side JavaScript. We do not receive, log, or persist your data contracts.
Does the Enterprise CLI require internet access?
By default, yes, to verify license keys and fetch external $ref schemas. However, air-gapped environments are supported via offline license files and local schema registries. Read the enterprise deployment guide.
What is the upgrade path from OpenAPI 3.0?
OpenAPI 3.0 uses a subset/superset of JSON Schema Draft 4. Our enterprise tools include an automated migration path to OpenAPI 3.1, which fully supports JSON Schema Draft 2020-12. See our OpenAPI compatibility matrix.
